Description
Fota or Tex as we like to call him was registered as a dark brown, but it became apparent at the 2020 National show in March that he is developing into a beautiful modern dark rose grey. His neck is already grey! He came home from the National show with 2 second place ribbons and then the rest of the spring show season was cancelled. His fleece is fine and bright with an even crimp from skin to tip and presents with exceptional staple length at 10 months of age. The genetics on both the top and bottom of Fota's ARI are loaded with championships. His sire and grand-sire, Black Irish Texas and Avalon's Jacob Black need no introduction. 11 Banners earned by Black Irish Texas including the AOA national show and The Futurity. 18 Banners earned by Avalon's Jacob Black including the AOA national show and The Futurity. On the bottom, Fota's dam, grand dam and grand sire all hold championships and most of the bottom line are in the top 5 - 25 % EPD's. We are excited to see how this young male matures over the summer and look forward to his fall season 2020. We are very excited to see how he will do.
